1. Are CMOs becoming more important than CTOs today?

Both are equally important as organization grow & create greater value by aligning product, marketing, technology & strategy closely. Functioning Silos doesn’t work anymore.

2. How do you make a utility like banking look exciting?

Make bank consumer brand friendly, understanding & unassuming. Something you love to interact with. Digital makes it possible. We do this by bringing following attributes.

a. understanding customer journey & motivation rather than financial transaction

b. using data & insights to customize experience

c. bring design thinking, innovation & simplicity

3. What’s an insight that you would like to share from an unsuccessful campaign?

a. Learn from mistakes quickly & correct it early

b. Keep running A/B testing on an ongoing basis

c. What works in one market/ customer segment, doesn’t work in another- bring sharper targeting & personalized value proposition

4. How does a typical working day look like in your life?

No two days are same. 40% of time I spend in delivering results for today & 60% on building business for tomorrow.
